The Beckford Project

Kitchen and Bar

The kitchen and bar at the Beckford Project were designed with a bolder palette, centred around the dramatic movement of Calacatta Viola. The existing timber floors were retained and sanded back, with the surrounding finishes selected to work with their warmth rather than compete with it.

In the kitchen, crisp white cabinetry keeps the space feeling light and open, while copper tapware picks up the warmer tones running through the stone. The bar takes on a moodier feel, pairing the Viola with dark timber cabinetry, stone shelving and integrated lighting to create contrast, depth and a more intimate atmosphere.
