The Beckford Project

Master Suite

The Beckford master suite was reimagined to create a generous, calming retreat with a warm, holiday-at-home feel. By relocating the existing, dated, ensuite into the adjoining bedroom, we were able to create a much larger bathroom alongside new his-and-hers robes, a dedicated makeup area and updated flooring throughout.

Designed for a well-travelled couple returning home to Australia ahead of the birth of their second child, the brief was to create something welcoming, restorative and reminiscent of a beautiful day spa. Every detail was considered to make the suite feel both luxurious and deeply personal.

A very special detail: their daughter was later born in this bathroom during a planned water birth.
